The role of a Strong Kids Creator offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children, parents, and families in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver programs that nurture and empower children through family support and supported playgroups.
  • Provide parenting and early childhood education services to promote healthy development and well-being.
  • Counsel and support young people who are vulnerable and at risk of homelessness, offering them a safe and stable environment.
  • Offer in-home accommodation and independent living supports to adults with a disability, enabling them to live fulfilling lives.
  • Implement early childhood intervention strategies to support children with disabilities, ensuring they reach their full potential.

This is an ongoing part-time opportunity based in Lightning Ridge or Brewarrina NSW, within our Mobile Children's Services program. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to work 16 hours per week.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven ability to run supported playgroups and engage with local communities.
  • Appreciation for Aboriginal culture and values, with an awareness of the current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people, and their families.
  • Ability to travel independently each day to various communities using an automatic 4-wheel drive vehicle.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships and foster a supportive team environment.
