"Health, Safety and Wellbeing Specialist"

Are you an individual who excels at delivering results-driven solutions that improve health and wellbeing outcomes?
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Health, Safety and Wellbeing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in driving the development and implementation of our health and safety strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain effective health and wellbeing strategies to minimize occupational health exposures and hazardous manual tasks.
  • Provide expert advice on health and wellbeing matters to stakeholders, including operational teams, human resources, and corporate stakeholders.
  • Investigate injury causation, assess related risks, and develop practical solutions to reduce injuries and promote a healthy work environment.
  • Facilitate the implementation of policies and procedures related to alcohol and other drugs, fatigue, return to work, and occupational hygiene.
  • Coach and build capability in operational teams on key health and wellbeing activities.


Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working in a similar role within a high-risk industry, such as manufacturing, construction, utilities, or mining.
  • Proven track record of delivering results-driven solutions that improve health and wellbeing outcomes.
  • Strong relationships with human resources, health and safety, operational, and corporate stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel across the franchise area.
