Event Coordinator Role

We are seeking a skilled Event Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and executing events from concept development to post-event evaluation.

  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives and requirements.
    • Develop comprehensive event proposals, including budgets, timelines, and logistics plans.
    • Coordinate venue selection, catering, audiovisual equipment, and other event services.
    • Manage event registration processes, including online registration platforms and attendee communication.
    • Oversee onsite event logistics, including setup, staffing, supervising and coordination staff and stakeholders.
    • Monitor event success and identify areas for improvement through post-event feedback and analysis.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in event planning and coordination, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and permits for event planning in Australia.
  • Certification in event management or related fields is a plus.
