About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Shift Technician to join our team in Sydney, Australia. As a critical member of our Data Centre Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks on HV and LV distribution systems, plant/equipment, and HVAC mechanical cooling/heating systems as per CMMS work orders.
  • Monitor Building Management System (BMS) for running and alarm conditions.
  • Respond to air conditioning-related issues on-site.
  • Perform building walk-rounds, take meter readings from UPS, PDU's, and utilities.
  • Investigate faults, identify causes, and implement remedies.
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports as required.
  • Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with current regulations.
  • Foster trusting relationships with Facilities Managers, staff, and representatives.
About You
  • A minimum of an Electrical Certificate III or full license Grade A with no restrictions.
  • Relevant and valid OH&S cards.
  • Additional training and experience would be beneficial.
  • Familiarity with CMMS and BMS systems is essential.
