  • Referrals will be managed in a timely and effective manner to support victims.
  • Specialist early intervention services will be provided to child, adolescent, and adult victims of sexual assault and their non-offending family members.
  • Strong relationships will be developed with key stakeholders, including community organizations, government agencies, and healthcare providers.
  • Culture-sensitive policies, procedures, and programs will be developed and implemented to promote diversity and inclusion.

Requirements:

  • A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or Counselling is required.
  • Eligibility for professional registration or association membership is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience in complex trauma and trauma-informed practice, preferably within a Violence, Abuse & Neglect (VAN) setting, is essential.
  • Assessment and case management skills are required for children, young people, and adults.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are necessary to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
