About the Role:

The Product Development Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving business growth by developing and executing category strategies. As an integral part of the Safety Category Team, this position is responsible for enhancing market presence and delivering value to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute category strategies to drive business growth and enhance market presence
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to further develop supplier relationships and improve product offerings
  • Assist the sales team with category propositions to support business growth and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct market research and provide actionable insights to inform business decisions
  • Support the execution of promotional plans to drive sales and revenue growth
  • Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks as required to ensure seamless operations
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and ability to analyze complex data sets
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience
