Sponsorship Acquisition Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sponsorship Acquisition Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our business development team, you will play a critical role in securing new sponsorship agreements with businesses within the building and construction industry.

Your primary focus will be on creating tailored annual sponsorship packages for potential and existing sponsors, as well as overseeing and managing all sponsorship and alliance activities to achieve set targets for growth, financial, and relationship management.

Collaboration with our events team will also be a key aspect of this role, supporting the implementation and delivery of sponsorship deliverables and hosting of industry events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sponsorship Acquisition: Secure new sponsorship agreements with multiple businesses within the building and construction industry.
  • Packaging and Delivery: Create tailored annual sponsorship packages for potential and existing sponsors.
  • Sponsorship Management: Oversee and manage all sponsorship and alliance activities to achieve set targets for growth, financial, and relationship management.
  • Event Support: Collaborate with the events team to support the implementation and delivery of sponsorship deliverables and hosting of industry events.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience: Proven experience in securing and managing sponsorship agreements, commercial partnerships, and negotiations.
  • Relationship Management: Demonstrated success in strategic relationship management, building strong connections with diverse stakeholders, including senior executives.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and deliver clear outcomes.
  • Organisation: Highly organised and motivated, able to excel in fast-paced environments and consistently deliver results.
