Property Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of our property portfolio. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in commercial property management and be able to work well within a small team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all relevant documentation, maintain accurate records, and ensure that our property database is up-to-date.
  • Follow best practices for data management to ensure data integrity in our management information system (MIS).
  • Assist in the procurement of valuations and leasing services and manage leasing for vacant areas as directed.
  • Conduct routine and incoming/outgoing property inspections on an allocated portfolio as required.
  • Submit recommendations/proposals for leasing activities for approval.
  • Provide regular performance reporting of real estate transaction activities against agreed performance parameters.
  • Manage rent review processes (market and fixed/CPI) per set KPIs.
  • Collect rents for the allocated portfolio.
  • Work closely with the Facilities Manager on maintenance item reporting and management.
  • Foster positive working relationships with clients, tenants, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
  • Build customer relationships to achieve client satisfaction and loyalty.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in commercial property or corporate real estate environment with residential experience a bonus.
  • Able to work within an integrated services and property model, delivering property management, facilities management, project management, and financial management services.
  • Effective internal and external communication skills.
  • Solid knowledge and experience in government practices, legislation, policies, standards, and agreements about property.
  • Demonstrated experience in real estate negotiations.
  • Business acumen with demonstrated business planning and high-level financial knowledge and skills.
  • Able to respond quickly to change and adopt a flexible approach to problems and opportunities.
  • Knowledge of digital property management software would be advantageous.
  • An understanding of analysis, interpretation, and reporting requirements related to property-related information and trends.
  • A current Real Estate Certificate of Registration or Licence.
