Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at Cummins Inc.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive timely and effective support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document customer inquiry information accurately and efficiently within our systems
  • Provide prompt assistance to customers through various communication channels, including chat, email, and phone
  • Process incoming customer queries and provide regular updates on their issues
  • Resolve routine customer complaints using your knowledge of Cummins processes and systems
  • Evaluate non-routine issues and escalate them to the relevant teams, providing thorough documentation
  • Stay up-to-date with new and existing Cummins processes, systems, and practices
  • Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve our processes and make them more customer-centric and efficient
  • Schedule workshop repairs and manage invoicing
  • Participate in project activities, such as WIP Control

Critical Competencies:

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with diverse audiences. You should also have excellent conflict resolution skills and be able to prioritize tasks effectively.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical trades qualifications or experience as an automotive technician (Light Vehicle, Heavy Vehicle, Engine Recon, Mobile Plant) is highly desirable
  • Relevant background as a service advisor in a similar industry is advantageous
  • Strong ability to build customer relationships and deliver solutions that meet their needs
  • Prior experience in conflict resolution and task prioritization is essential
  • High level of computer literacy and technical aptitude
  • Accounting/Financial experience is a bonus
