Regional Growth and Innovation Leader

A leadership position is available for a visionary individual to spearhead the growth and innovation of our Asia-Pacific business.

  • Strategic Leadership: Represent the Asia-Pacific region in a globally connected team of over 100 tailings and mine waste engineers, influencing strategy and driving regional business growth.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical leadership and deliver impactful projects, supported by a collaborative, technically competent, forward-thinking team.
  • Regional Development: Work flexibly from any location in the Asia-Pacific region, backed by our strong platform of offices and staff, contributing to the development of the regional business plan.

This is an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the growth and success of our regional business. Key responsibilities include growing and strengthening the team through strategic recruitment and development, inspiring and guiding regional team leaders and senior professionals, and overseeing the development of high-quality technical outputs.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years' experience in tailings engineering, including experience within a consultancy group, as well as a minimum of 10 years of specialisation and demonstrated experience in tailings engineering in a consulting role.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Team Leadership: Grow and strengthen the team through strategic recruitment and continued development of our national practice.
  • Collaboration and Alignment: Inspire and guide regional team leaders and senior professionals across multiple states, fostering collaboration and alignment.
  • Financial Management: Manage group financial performance through resource management with the Engineering & Design group administration team, team leaders, and other technical discipline managers.
  • Technical Outputs: Oversee the development of high-quality technical outputs, ensuring reports and deliverables meet our standards and client expectations on time and within budgets.
  • Client Relationships: Develop, facilitate, and enhance relationships between our internal and external clients.
  • Business Development: Contribute to winning work by identifying and converting opportunities and drawing on your existing client relationships.
  • Project Management: Provide advice and assistance to internal and external clients, team members, and Project Managers on projects regarding best practices.
  • Leadership and Management: Lead and manage your own projects, applying your deep technical knowledge and project management capability to deliver meaningful outcomes.
