Senior Technical Operations Specialist

The role of a Senior Technical Operations Specialist involves providing expert-level technical support to clients nationwide, addressing complex issues related to servers, desktops, and applications within Microsoft Azure, Active Directory (AD), and Exchange environments.

  • Technical Support: Collaborate with experienced team members to maintain best practice environments and address technical challenges.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Support and maintain cloud infrastructure across Hyper-V, AWS, and Azure platforms, ensuring systems' efficiency and performance.
  • Problem Solving: Perform senior-level technical functions, collaborating with experienced team members to identify opportunities for process improvement and skill development.
  • Project Deployment: Participate in project teams to deploy and manage IT solutions for clients, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Documentation: Document and log all actions and solutions in our systems for accountability and future reference, mentoring junior team members in key skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking an individual with the following qualifications:

  • An extensive knowledge of technical infrastructure from desktop to firewall, including LAN & WAN networking principles.
  • Outstanding spoken and written communication skills in English.
  • Deep knowledge in Windows Server, desktop, and Azure AD/GPO/DNS/DHCP.
  • Strength across messaging platforms including Exchange Hybrid, On-prem, and Office 365.
  • Experience working with Hyper-V and other virtualization solutions.
  • Extensive experience with backup technologies.
  • Excellent problem diagnosis technique.
  • Exposure to ticketing tools.
