Commercial Director, Sales Strategy

This is a Sales Leadership Manager role at NielsenIQ in Australia. The company is rapidly growing and looking for a leader to spearhead the Consumer Panel Service (CPS) Australia Omni Panel Lead.
The primary responsibility of this role is to drive revenue growth through strategic client acquisition and development of commercial strategies. The successful candidate will lead the development and execution of sales plans, focusing on client acquisition, and work closely with the Cluster Lead and FMCG Sales Lead to empower local ADs to sell the Omni Shopper Panel.
This role involves defining and refining the positioning of the Omni Shopper Panel in the market, ensuring clear articulation of its overall benefits alongside the core household panel and in comparison, to competitors. The candidate should have a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth, with extensive experience in developing and executing commercial strategy based on strategic thinking.
The estimated salary for this role is $150,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and influence skills, with the ability to lead, inspire, and influence a diverse stakeholder internally and externally. They should also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, analytical skills to interpret data and translate it to actionable insights, and experience working in matrixed organizations.
This role requires a genuine curiosity about purchase behavior data and the ability to demonstrate the capability to translate data into actionable insights in Consumer and Shopper behavior field. The candidate should be able to challenge the status quo, foster open-mindedness, and encourage creative thinking to nurture continuous improvement culture.
