Fixed Income and Currencies Corporate Salesperson

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Salesperson to join our Fixed Income and Currencies team in Sydney, Australia. As a key member of our global organization, you will play a pivotal role in building out our Corporate business in Australia, working closely with our teams onshore and internationally.
Key Responsibilities- Grow our FIC Corporate flow business with Australian Corporates and develop business opportunities, both public and private deals
- Originate business opportunities with existing and new clients, providing advisory on risk management and building deal pipelines in collaboration with our Global Markets teams
- Provide strong pricing and execution abilities in FX and Interest rates derivatives, as well as structured investment solutions
- Prepare pitchbooks, market comments, term sheets, and other marketing materials
- Drive sales initiatives and maintain awareness of our FX & Rates strengths and offerings
- Work in close partnership with our broader FIC desk in Sydney to build out our franchise
- Collaborate with other salespersons in the region and globally, as well as other departments and partners, to drive business growth
- Maintain strong connectivity with the market, understanding the needs of our corporate clients and industry groups, and leveraging market intelligence to provide feedback internally to improve our capabilities
- Bachelor's or master's Degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, or Engineering
- At least 6-8 years of relevant financial markets experience in Sales or Global Markets
- Proven capabilities in building strong relationships with Australian Corporate clients, with a strong understanding of the corporate business and key decision drivers
- Strong technical knowledge of Fixed Income and Currencies products, particularly IRS/XCCY/FX/FXO/Structured Investment solutions, for both flow business and private deal executions
- Good knowledge of dealing platforms for credit FX and FI
- Strong ability in Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships, with demonstrable communication skills
- Commercial acumen, strong corporate knowledge, and persistence in addressing clients' needs
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work in a team environment and with teams based in different geographical locations
- Proven ability to work in an evolving multicultural environment with people from diverse, international backgrounds
