
Indigenous Community Project Coordinator

Job Description:
The role of Indigenous Community Project Coordinator is to support the coordination of projects that promote social justice and equality in Indigenous communities. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the issues affecting Indigenous Australians and be able to work effectively with community organizations and government agencies to deliver positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide project support to coordinate the delivery of programs and services that address the needs of Indigenous Australians.
- Work collaboratively with community organizations and government agencies to develop and implement project plans and strategies.
- Conduct research and analysis to inform project decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community leaders, government officials, and other partners.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate project progress and results to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Indigenous studies, social work, or community development.
- Proven experience working in Indigenous communities or with Indigenous organizations.
- Strong understanding of Indigenous Australian cultures and histories.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
