Workforce Planning and Training Manager Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic leader to drive workforce efficiency and operational excellence in our facility.

As the Workforce Planning and Training Manager, you will lead the team in delivering effective employee rosters, recruitment, and training. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing labour efficient workforce plans to minimize costs while maintaining compliance with employment legislation.
  • Building strong relationships with managers and supervisors to implement effective rostering systems and processes across the facility.
  • Collaborating with Payroll, People Operations, and third-party agencies to support recruitment and attendance management.
  • Delivering key workforce metrics and insights on overtime, meal breaks, shift swaps, absenteeism, and operational workforce performance.
  • Developing and delivering structured onboarding and training programs for production roles.
  • Partnering with stakeholders to ensure seamless workforce coordination and representing Workforce Planning in operational projects.

Requirements for this role include:

  • Previous experience in workforce planning, rostering, and recruitment with leadership experience in developing teams.
  • Experience working with and interpreting Awards and continuous improvement principles.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to teamwork.
  • Methodical with excellent attention to detail, innovative, and proactive with results-oriented approach.
