About the Role



Amazon Corporate Services Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Global Network Capacity Manager to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to drive operational excellence in network capacity management and lead a team of highly qualified professionals.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead a team of engineers in scaling backbone capacity, working with partner teams on fiber delivery and optical line system deployments

* Ensure sound backbone capacity design, management, implementation, and deployment operations, safely meeting customer demand

* Promote safe delivery through change control, automation, innovation, and operational excellence initiatives

* Focus on operations and process optimization using relevant data, metrics, and dashboarding techniques

* Collaborate with internal customers, partner teams, and stakeholders on backbone capacity delivery operations, planning, and initiatives

Requirements



* 5+ years of relevant network engineering experience

* 5+ years people management experience or relevant leadership experience

* 3+ years past experience with network operations as a manager or individual contributor

* Working knowledge of Networking (TCP/IP, Routing/Switching & Troubleshooting)

Educational Background and Experience

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

* Master's degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications

* Depth of experience creating and implementing high-quality, high-volume recruiting plans

* Experience presenting root cause analysis and error correction from operational events to senior management

* Working knowledge and experience of developing operational metrics

* In-depth knowledge of Networking

* Experience contributing to the definition and implementation of automation opportunities within an operations environment

* Experience in agile management methodologies

* Experience with lean methodologies and Six-Sigma or similar qualification

Salary Range

$120,000 - $180,000 per year
