The OpportunityYou will lead one of our mobile maintenance teams as a Maintenance Supervisor. This role is crucial for daily operations and involves ensuring maintenance meets high standards and aligns with strategic needs.
- Be a visible leader, maintaining high expectations for site safety standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders within mining and maintenance teams.
- Provide leadership, setting clear expectations and reviewing performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers.
- Identify and implement continual improvement strategies.
- A mechanical or electrical trade certificate and/or tertiary qualification are essential.
- Prior experience as a HME maintenance supervisor in open cut mining is required.
- Familiarity with heavy plant maintenance: Draglines, Excavators, Haul Trucks and Drills is necessary.
- Knowledge of relevant mining legislation is required.
- Able to make data-driven risk-based decisions.
- Strong frontline leadership skills and effective communication are essential.
