Mobile Fleet Maintenance Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Reliability Specialist to develop and optimise maintenance strategies for our mobile fleet and related assets. The successful candidate will work closely with maintenance and production teams to improve reliability, extend asset life, and reduce costs.
The role involves developing long-term maintenance plans aligned with production goals, creating capital justifications, managing projects, and leading or supporting investigations into equipment failures. Additionally, the specialist will coach and mentor teams in reliability practices, contribute to safety planning, and participate in toolbox meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply tools like RCM, FMEA, and root cause analysis to improve asset reliability
- Develop and maintain maintenance plans that align with business objectives
- Manage capital projects and create justifications
- Lead investigations into equipment failures and implement corrective actions
- Coach and mentor teams in reliability best practices
- Contribute to safety planning and participate in regular meetings
Requirements:
- Engineering qualification or relevant trade background
- Experience in maintenance planning, supervision, or reliability engineering
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Familiarity with mobile fleet maintenance and SAP CMMS systems
