Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - Mobile Machinery

This is a field-based role as a Service Engineer in the UK for an international manufacturer of forklift trucks.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will enjoy comprehensive on-the-job training, a benefits package and progression routes.

The company requires a skilled Maintenance Engineer to carry out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of mobile machinery in the UK. No stay-away or extensive travel is required.

Overtime is available if desired, mostly in the week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out Predictive Maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdowns on materials handling machinery on a mobile engineering basis
  • Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area
  • Complete comprehensive training to become fully competent on all machinery and equipment
Requirements:
  • Mechanical aptitude with plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment experience
  • Engine diagnostics and basic electrical skills
  • Ideal candidates hold a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject
