About the Role

CS Executive Group invites applications for a Research and Development Specialist to undertake work in automated sensors and electronic warfare systems.

This opportunity is ideal for experienced professionals with a strong background in Defence Industry and/or Defence prime research experience, particularly in intelligence, EW, and integrated sensor surveillance systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research on various capability requirements, including sensor tracking, surveillance, and multiple systems integration and future ADF capability – ISREW, with minimal supervision.
  • Develop original algorithms and reconstruct software into plausible and real-time demonstrations in a secured environment sandbox.
  • Collaborate with other industry vendors, ADF capability managers, and Defence Science to achieve project objectives.
  • Communicate findings across multi-disciplinary and diverse teams, developing capability and concept documentation for joint and domain platform programs.
Requirements
  • Extensive science, engineering, research, and technical qualifications with subsequent professional experience/expertise in a relevant or similar field.
  • Previous experience with AI and/or automated targeting systems, sensors, and Electronic Warfare capability.
  • Strong professional communication skills – both written and verbal.
