Client Onboarding Specialist

Key responsibilities for this role include supervising and mentoring junior team members to ensure they are equipped to provide stellar client service and meet regulatory standards.
The Role- Lead a team in client onboarding, overseeing workflow and performance to meet service level agreements and deadlines.
- Provide training, onboarding and guidance to junior staff, evaluating compliance risk and escalating issues as necessary.
- Conduct AML checks, sanctions checks and conflict checks to maintain accurate records.
- Review and record identification documents, liaising with clients directly when needed.
- Ensure timely completion of client care letters, terms of service and file openings, supporting with file closures and retrievals in line with firm policy.
Experience in client services or compliance within the legal sector is essential.
Previous team supervision or mentoring experience is also required.
Strong communication skills and familiarity with law firm compliance requirements are key attributes.
