The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to join our team at our Dandenong branch. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for achieving sales and profit goals across Victoria.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a sales team and their marketing activities, ensuring the correct skills and behavioural values are being applied to achieve sales goals.
  • Liaise with branch personnel to assist in achieving branch sales targets.
  • Implement strategies to achieve sales targets and expense budgets.
  • Improve market share and competitive position through business growth and development.
  • Report on market intelligence, competitor activity, and market trends.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated management experience with the ability to engage and enable a team of dedicated and talented sales professionals to achieve sales targets.
  • An outstanding track record in sales within the construction equipment (or similar) industry.
  • Commercial understanding and the ability to work within budgets.
  • Exceptional relationship building skills with a commitment to enhancing relationships with customers, peers, and the community.
  • A strong technical understanding of earthmoving equipment is beneficial but not essential.
