Job Overview

This senior-level role involves leading the interpretation and integration of health and safety requirements into project planning, design, construction, and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive Safety and Health Management Plans, associated plans and procedures, and training programs.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Subcontracts, Commissioning, and other groups to ensure that safety and health requirements are integrated within project planning and execution.
  • Provide expert guidance on risk assessment and ESH program execution.
  • Conduct research and prepare documentation and reports on regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Support emergency response, incident investigation, and resolution efforts.
  • Interface with stakeholders and provide solutions to their ESH concerns.
Working Conditions

This position requires exposure to diverse environmental, construction, and operational conditions, including:

  • Extensive walking in and around active construction and/or operations sites.
  • Climbing ladders, working at heights from work platforms including scaffolding, and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs).
  • Using personal fall arrest equipment, walking and working on uneven surfaces.
  • Working in constricted and/or confined spaces.
  • Variable work shifts and work in inclement weather.

Candidates must be able to use standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task.
