The role of this position is to assist in the integration and implementation of health and safety requirements into project planning, design, construction, and operations.
- Assist in executing the safety aspect of an Environmental Health Safety (EHS) Program, encompassing technical and administrative elements.
- Contribute to developing and implementing Safety and Health Management Plans, associated plans and procedures, and training programs.
- Provide input to various teams to ensure that safety and health requirements are integrated within project planning and execution.
- Research and interpret health and safety regulations, offering guidance on risk assessment and ESH program execution.
- Conduct inspections and monitoring to identify hazards and risks, evaluate controls and corrective actions, and assess compliance with contract, regulatory, project, and organizational requirements.
- Degree or Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or related science/engineering field.
- General Construction Safety Induction (White Card).
Preferred qualifications include previous refinery/chemical/LNG plant construction HSE experience and proficiency in Microsoft software applications.
