Occupational Health and Safety Specialist

Our organization is looking for a Health and Safety Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the project planning process, you will be responsible for interpreting and integrating health and safety requirements into project design, construction, and operations.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in occupational health and safety who wants to make a real impact on the success of our projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all aspects of health and safety are considered and implemented throughout the project lifecycle.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of health and safety principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
Responsibilities:- Assist in the development and implementation of safety and health management plans
- Provide input to engineering, construction, procurement, and other groups to ensure safety and health requirements are integrated into project planning and execution
- Interpret safety and health regulations and provide guidance on risk assessment and ESH program execution
- Conduct regular inspections and monitoring to identify hazards and risks, evaluate controls, and assess compliance

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in occupational health and safety
- General Construction Safety Induction (White Card)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications
