Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a transformation of our business partnering approach, reshaping how we operate between centralised and decentralised models.

As our Strategic People Manager, General Manager People Operations, you will collaborate closely with corporate and operational functions to align them with the wider people strategy.

You will manage your own portfolio, play a pivotal role in developing leadership capabilities, and ensure regulatory and governance requirements are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Embrace collaboration between functional and property leaders to deliver a consistent, efficient, and proactive strategic people agenda.
  • Partner closely with leaders to ensure that the People agenda is a priority and that solutions meet the unique needs of the group or department.
  • Prioritise and partner in building financially sound recommendations across all aspects of People & Performance (P&P) that address both immediate and long-term needs.
  • Understand the root cause of leadership needs and gather insights on behalf of the P&P team to inform the design and rollout of P&P initiatives.
  • Couch, develop, and empower leaders to perform as leaders, educating them particularly on the People operating model.

You are a natural collaborator and communicator, able to understand and explain complex business requirements and strategy, working alongside leaders to ensure successful outcomes.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum
