About the Role

As a key member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless guest experiences. This will involve efficiently processing arrivals and departures, handling payments, and maintaining accurate records.

Working closely with our Overnight Assistant Manager and Front Office Manager, you will play a vital role in managing overnight operations to achieve our hotel's purpose.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Arrival and Departure Procedures: Handle all arrival and departure records, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing transactions.
  • Cashiering Duties: Perform cashiering duties as required, including foreign currency exchange, payments, charges, and check-outs.
  • Guest Enquiries and Requests: Respond promptly to guest enquiries and requests, demonstrating a thorough knowledge of Melbourne and its surroundings.
  • Security and Emergency Procedures: Maintain high levels of security for guests, staff, and hotel property, being fully conversant with emergency procedures.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure that all public and back-of-house areas are maintained to specified standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation.
