Executive Chef Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our award-winning Kitchen Team at Stamford Grand Adelaide on a full-time basis.
Job Description:- Lead the Kitchen and Stewarding Teams in ensuring smooth and successful food service operations for all outlets.
- Hands-on management of food preparation, presentation, and cooking techniques to meet high standards and guidelines.
- Collaborate with Front of House Service Teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Develop and implement sustainable practices, including leading the hotel's Food Waste Program.
- Maintain accurate food cost control and expense management.
- Stay updated on industry trends and introduce new culinary techniques to enhance menu offerings.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role within a high-end hotel environment.
- Prior experience in mentoring and motivating kitchen staff, with excellent communication skills.
- Adaptable problem-solver with a can-do attitude and team player mindset.
- Australian trade qualifications and sound knowledge of food safety standards, including HACCP.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays as required.
