Chef Manager Job Description

As a highly skilled Chef Manager, you will play a vital role in leading the kitchen team at a leisurely retirement community.

  • Manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including cooking and preparing meals for lunch and dinner service.
  • Develop innovative ideas for monthly events and functions that cater to residents' preferences.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and adhere to occupational health and safety policies.
  • Coordinate stock management, staff rostering, and ensure exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all kitchen and dining operations.
  • Create fresh ideas for monthly events and functions.
  • Monitor Food Safety checklists and adhere to OH&S policies.
  • Complete stock management, staff rostering, and ensure outstanding customer service.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (required).
  • Kitchen management experience, including ordering stock, rostering, or admin experience.
  • Minimum two COVID-19 vaccinations (required).
