Lead Food and Beverage Operations

We are seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to oversee our F&B operations at The Barrel.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on in their approach, delivering exceptional customer service while coaching and mentoring the team to achieve the same standards.

  • Lead front-of-house and back-of-house teams, training team members and overseeing rosters.
  • Streamline operations through management of labour costs, food costs, stock levels, and POS programming.
  • Monitor and measure customer satisfaction and preferences, implementing promotions as needed.
  • Enforce workplace health and safety protocols, including compliance with Food Safety regulations.
  • Work with our Chef and kitchen team to price and manage food and beverage menu offerings.
  • Collaborate with the Events Coordinator to organize and facilitate events and functions.
  • Report trends and forward-thinking initiatives to senior leadership.

Requirements
  • 3 years' experience in a hospitality management position.
  • Front-of-house experience and strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive outlook.
  • RSA or RMLV certification.
  • Solid financial and commercial acumen.
