About the Role

We're looking for a driven and people-focused Business Development Manager to join our Central Team, covering Brisbane City, Southbank and the Inner Suburbs.

You'll be the face of Moco in the region – growing our footprint by connecting with new customers, strengthening existing relationships, and working closely with chefs and venue owners to deliver smart, tailored foodservice solutions.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who's ready to bring energy, ideas and commercial focus to the table – and help customers run great food businesses.

About You

You might be a chef looking to step away from the pans, or someone already in food sales who knows what it takes to win. Either way, you're a confident communicator with a strong work ethic and a genuine passion for people and food.

You're ready to hustle, build trust quickly, and bring a "make it happen" mindset to every day. You thrive on variety, love the chase, and are organised enough to stay on top of your pipeline while juggling competing priorities.

Skills & Experience:

· Hospitality, foodservice or culinary experience – chef background highly regarded.

· Confident in cold calling, drop-ins and proactive sales activity.

· Strong understanding of venue needs, margins, and profitability.

· Able to work independently and plan your own territory and call cycles.

· Technologically capable – comfortable with email, systems, Excel etc.

· Authentic relationship builder with a customer-first mindset.

· Passion for food, strong follow-through, and a desire to grow with the business.
