About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Software Developer to join our team in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), New South Wales (NSW), Queensland (QLD) or Victoria (VIC). This is a permanent opportunity with a 6-month probation period, followed by a 12-month extension option.



Job Description


As a Senior Cloud Software Developer, you will provide senior development expertise in the development, maintenance, and security uplift of the client's application suite in a Microsoft Azure environment. Your responsibilities will include:



  • Developing technical documentation and architecture artefacts throughout the application development lifecycle.
  • Improving application logging, performance, and monitoring.
  • Leading test-driven development and review of unit tests.
  • Providing mentoring and guidance to other developers and applications support team members.
  • Contributing to and providing continuous improvement and identifying, evaluating, and managing risk in the delivery of project outcomes.
  • Promoting workplace safety, equity, diversity, and participative management and environmental management practices in the workplace.


Required Skills and Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Experience with C#, .NET Core, Angular, React, React Native, Next.js, HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Solid experience with Azure (Azure cloud services specifically Azure Functions, App Services, Blob Storage, etc.) and Azure integrations services including Azure Logic Apps, Azure Event Grid, Azure Service Bus, and Azure API Management.
  • Experience in application modernization of older .Net Applications to Cloud Native Services.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices, such as authentication, authorization, encryption, and security protocols.
  • DevOps practices such as CI/CD, automation, infrastructure as code, and monitoring.
  • Understanding of Azure B2C Identity and Access Management.
  • Microsof platforms and productivity tools including MS Power Platform.
  • SQL Server and Azure SQL including data extractions and reporting in SSRS and Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of architectural patterns, TDD, BDD, and test automation.
