We are seeking highly skilled Senior Cloud Developers to join our team at the HiTech Group. This is a rare opportunity to work within a reputable Federal Government agency, transforming legacy systems into integrated, modern, and efficient cloud-based solutions.

About the Role

This position focuses on developing and enhancing complex software systems using C# .NET Core and related technologies. As a senior member of our agile team, you will collaborate with colleagues to design, develop, and integrate modern solutions that meet client requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance software solutions using C# .NET Core, adhering to best practices for code quality, performance, security, and maintainability.
  • Analyse legacy systems and design, develop, and integrate modern solutions, ensuring alignment with requirements and coordination with stakeholders.
  • Conduct analysis of upgrade paths, enhancements, and effort estimates; troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth functionality and system reliability.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have/ be experienced in the following:

  • A minimum of 5 years proven experience as a senior C# .NET Core developer, including web application development, API creation, cloud integration (Azure/AWS), and applying software design patterns.
  • Expertise in microservices architecture, containerization, cloud platforms, automated testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong ability to understand complex technical environments, design robust solutions, and solve problems effectively.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices, with experience collaborating in geographically dispersed teams.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills demonstrated through achieving business and technical objectives.
