Job DescriptionOverviewMichael Page is seeking an experienced Senior Urban Designer - Infrastructure and Public Realm to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the identification and implementation of sustainable and cost-effective design solutions for infrastructure and public realm projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development of innovative and effective design strategies for infrastructure and public realm projects.
- Supervise and facilitate design activities, ensuring compliance with approved schedules and fostering efficient and timely progress in accordance with project milestones.
- Conduct on-site visits to provide proactive support and identify relevant issues, contributing to the smooth resolution of challenges and ensuring successful project progression.
- Facilitate the provision of technical support to project teams during construction, addressing constructability and other engineering issues effectively.
- Monitor compliance with project design briefs, keeping track of deviations and design change orders on a monthly basis.
- Cordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate design goals into overall project plans, resulting in cohesive and well-aligned project outcomes.
- Direct infrastructure tendering processes.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or equivalent from a recognized and accredited University.
- Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or equivalent from a recognized and accredited University preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng).
- At least 18 years of professional experience in Infrastructure and Public Realm Design in a fast-paced and dynamic environment in a development organization.
- A proven track record of dynamic and successful leadership in Infrastructure and Public Realm Design.
- Comprehensive working knowledge of governing bodies, committees, and regulatory organizations for the development sector within KSA.
The estimated salary for this position is 120,000 SAR per annum, plus additional benefits as discussed with the hiring manager.
