We undertake extensive work in statutory and strategic planning across various sectors, including residential, commercial, retail, tourism, health, education, industry, and infrastructure.

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Senior Urbanist-Planner to join our high-performing team. This role will suit a dynamic and passionate individual looking to take the next step in their professional career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively across various projects and services within our diversified portfolios, including multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Lead a range of deliverables, including development approvals, planning scheme amendments, strategies, studies, and provision of strategic advice.
  • Prepare fee proposals and tender submissions, assess and report on technical documentation, manage sub-consultants, and deliver projects.
  • Develop project management, delegation, and supervision skills through managing junior staff members.
  • Build on existing stakeholder relationships and networks to achieve positive results for clients.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Planning or related degree/discipline.
  • 2-5 years of urban planning experience within a professional services firm or state/local government.
  • Well-developed organisational and time management skills, flexible and positive attitude to working on multiple projects concurrently.
  • In-depth knowledge of the NSW planning framework, experience preparing considered strategic frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, ability to build rapport with clients and project team members.
