As a key member of our finance team, you will collaborate closely with the corporate accountant to support essential accounting and finance functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage Accounts Payable and Receivable functions
  • Process credit card statements
  • End of Month Reconciliations, including investigating discrepancies
  • General financial administration
  • Process Purchase Orders
  • Process End of Month journals
  • Process Ownership Statements in Property Tree (Property Management software)
  • Assisting with Fixed Asset Registers
  • Perform basic data analysis to support financial decision-making when required
  • Driving efficiencies with AP & AR functions
  • Provide ad hoc support to Corporate Accountant and Finance Business Partner when required
  • Assist with admin related functions from time to time

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge of financial and accounting principles and procedures
  • Experience with AR/AP/GL functions and the month-end/year-end close processes
  • Comfortable working to deadlines and reporting timetables
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive, friendly attitude and team player
  • Able to show initiative and be a self-starter
  • Experience using Accounting Software. MYOB and Xero experience desirable but not essential.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel.
