Job Title: Community Fundraising Administrator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to assist in the coordination and organization of our signature physical fundraising event. The role will involve sourcing, booking, and delivering logistical components of this event which takes place in Sydney.

You will be responsible for managing suppliers, working with agencies, reading contracts, booking accommodation, coordinating event logistics, and volunteer management.

As a key member of our small team, you must be proactive, forward-thinking, and willing to roll up your sleeves and get involved.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with external agencies to support the design and delivery of volunteer events.
  • Support with volunteer recruitment plans and engagement journeys.
  • Manage stock of event collateral, as well as developing and designing digital collateral.
  • Support the event manager with coordination of personnel, including incident management, scheduling, and event documents.
  • Book event staff accommodation, flights, event vehicles, and catering.
  • Provide general administration and assistance to the whole team as required.
  • Maintain accurate database records and ensure data efficiency.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Experience in fundraising is highly regarded but not essential.
  • Strong experience in events or project management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with external suppliers.
  • High level proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Administration skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with great attention to detail.
  • Able to identify areas for process improvement.
  • Exceptional multitasker, able to navigate conflicting priorities.
  • Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced and changing environment.
