Event Management Opportunity

This charity seeks a skilled Event Coordinator to develop and deliver their annual calendar of fundraising and supporter engagement events.

The Organisation

This small yet impactful charity has been leading crisis services for vulnerable people for nearly 40 years, providing dignity and equality in all aspects of their work.

The Role

The Event Coordinator will report directly to an experienced Marketing & Fundraising Manager and be responsible for implementing the organisation's annual calendar of fundraising and supporter engagement events.

You will oversee the coordination, implementation, and support in delivering digital and live events – including crowdfunding, an annual fundraising gala dinner, golf day, launch events, and supporter engagement activities.

As part of your responsibilities, you will coordinate event materials including invitations, sponsorship opportunities, operations & logistics. You will also manage all registration, ticketing, event toolkits & related donations, and enquiries.

You will join a small but high-performing and truly collaborative team who are passionate about delivering positive outcomes to those in need.

Essential Skills and Attributes
  • Experience in implementing diverse donor engagement, community, and industry events within a non-profit environment
  • Coordination experience of events & projects including volunteer engagement
  • Comfortable working in a small team & willing to take on additional responsibilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office, Salesforce (or similar) & social media platforms
  • Current NSW drivers' licence
  • COVID-19 vaccination / exemption certificate is required due to the nature of services provided
