About the Role

As a Residential Youth Worker, you will be part of a large team that provides a stable, nurturing, and safe home environment for young people who have experienced significant trauma. You will work closely with colleagues, team leaders, and an extensive support structure to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support young people in care to develop life skills and achieve their goals
  • Work collaboratively with the team to create a safe and supportive living environment
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each young person
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to young people who may be experiencing challenges
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or similar
