About the Role

As a Residential Youth Worker at Anglicare Victoria, you will be part of a dedicated team supporting young people in care. This varied role involves creating a stable, nurturing, and safe home environment, as well as supporting young people who may have challenges with emotion regulation and daily life tasks.

Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Child, Youth, and Family Intervention or similar (top-up training may be required)
  • Experience working with young people who have experienced significant trauma
  • Understanding of how trauma can affect young people's development
  • Solid understanding of the Child Protection and Welfare system in Victoria
  • Excellent written, verbal, and collaborative communication skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a busy and dynamic program
  • Empathy with Anglicare Victoria's Values and Mission
