About the Role:

This is a varied and challenging role that requires a deep understanding of the needs and experiences of young people who have experienced significant trauma. You will work in large teams to support young people in care, creating a stable, nurturing, and safe home environment, while also supporting them in their daily lives.

Your Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or similar qualification.
  • Experience working with young people who have experienced significant trauma and an understanding of how trauma can affect their development.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and collaborative communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of young people and the service.
  • An empathy with Anglicare Victoria's values and mission to do better for children, young people, and families.
