About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Youth Worker to join our team at Anglicare Victoria. As a Residential Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic care to young people in our residential homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide trauma-informed care to young people, responding to their emotional and functional needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to support the young person's personal growth and development.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of staff to provide a safe and nurturing home environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

About You

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate individual who is passionate about working with young people. You will have a Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential and Out of Home Care) or a relevant tertiary qualification, and a willingness to undertake top-up training if required.

You will also possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to maintain professional boundaries and work therapeutically with young people with complex needs.
