Senior Associate Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment law and industrial relations matters, gained within a reputable commercial law firm.

As a senior member of the team, you will play a key role advising clients on all aspects of workplace relations, including litigation across various Courts and Tribunals.

  • You must have at least 8 years PQE with demonstrated experience in a senior associate/special counsel role
  • Strong experience working across a range of employment law and industrial relations matters is essential
  • Demonstrated capability to work autonomously as well as within a team to manage a robust and diverse workload
  • Experience in supervision and mentoring of junior staff is desirable
  • A high degree of initiative, dedication and commitment to client service is required
  • Strong communication skills and practical problem-solving skills are essential
  • A desire to develop and participate in business development initiatives, including seminars and publishing articles is beneficial
  • A proactive attitude towards personal development to expand your skills and knowledge to meet client needs is necessary
