Workplace Relations and Safety Law Expert

We are seeking an Associate with expertise in workplace relations & safety law to join our esteemed team.

The team provides professional advice to a broad range of clients, including large and small corporates, government bodies, and statutory authorities. It is an employer-focused practice representing both public and private sector employers across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing both contentious and non-contentious employment law advice to a variety of clients
  • Managing client relationships and leading legal matters, with a focus on workplace relations, industrial relations, and safety law
  • Collaborating with the Commercial team on diverse transactional matters, ensuring comprehensive legal support across various sectors
  • Contributing to the growth and development of the practice, with opportunities for career advancement based on merit

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years PAE in workplace health and safety, working within an established and reputable employment law practice
  • Solid knowledge of workplace relations, industrial relations, and work health and safety law
  • Proven experience advising on employment-related matters within the context of commercial transactions
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to legal work
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills for building effective relationships with clients and key stakeholders
