Job Description

Karratha Senior High School, a leading institution in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, is seeking a skilled Technical Support Officer to join their team. As an integral part of the school's community, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the learning environment by ensuring the reliability and sustainability of the school's Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems and network.

About the Role
The Technical Support Officer will be responsible for providing advice on technical issues and collaborating with administration to maintain and develop the network system. Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing technical support and training to all users throughout the school site on various software applications and providing access to systems and resources.
  • Maintaining accurate records of ICT assets and resources and developing, implementing, and monitoring a replacement plan.
  • Installing, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of information systems and ICT equipment in accordance with the school business needs and Department of Education policies and guidelines.

About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a school environment and a thorough understanding of standard operating systems and associated software. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work well under pressure are essential.

What We Offer
As a Technical Support Officer with the Department of Education, Western Australia, you can expect a competitive salary package, including:
$68,000 - $83,328 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications,
