Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Support Officer to join our friendly Administration team. As the successful applicant, you will be responsible for maintaining the school's Information Technology network to maximise both educational and administrative outcomes. This includes ensuring the integrity of educational and administrative data through the implementation and maintenance of data security strategies, liaising with Department of Education ICT Support to resolve hardware, software, and network related issues, and providing technical support and training to all users throughout the school.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated knowledge of network systems and platforms relevant to the operating environment.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills relevant to the operational maintenance of Information Technology networks.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills, including the ability to plan and implement data security procedures.
  • Demonstrated verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external clients.
  • Demonstrated practical experience in developing and implementing user-training procedures.

This is a permanent part-time position commencing Term 4, 2024, working 0.6 FTE. The successful applicant will be required to obtain a valid Working With Children Check before commencing employment, and consent to a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit.
