Trade Support Specialist Role Overview

Schramm is seeking a skilled Trade Support Specialist to join our Adelaide team. This full-time role involves assisting with various tasks in assembly, manufacturing, workshop maintenance, and general support for our experienced trades team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support assembly and dismantling operations, including bolting and screwing.
  • Read, interpret, and follow engineering drawings.
  • Operate mobile plant and lifting equipment as required (subject to licensing).
  • Maintain clean and organized work surfaces and workshop areas.
  • Assist tradespersons by handing tools and holding materials as needed.
  • Manage and maintain WHS standards and environmental protocols.
  • Perform regular housekeeping duties, ensuring cleanliness and tidiness.
  • Support the movement of freight, packaging, and delivery within the Adelaide office.
  • Maintain accurate stock systems and participate in stocktaking activities.
About You
  • Prior experience (1 year) in a similar role or industry is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and general hands-on skills.
  • Some experience with mechanical repairs, servicing, or fabricating would be advantageous.
  • A valid Australian Driver's License (C Class); HR & Forklift licenses are advantageous.
  • Good physical fitness.
  • A strong commitment to WHS practices.

$65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience. The salary will be discussed during the interview process.
