We are a proud Independent Public School catering for students in Kindergarten to Year 6.

Job Summary

This is an opportunity to make a real cultural impact in the lives of students and to develop your own skills and autonomy in a supportive environment.

You will be responsible for assisting teachers in delivering planned education programs, including the operation of computers and implementing individual or small group programs or demonstrations.

You will also help maintain the learning environment by keeping equipment, materials, and resources organized and ready for use in classes and activities, and by helping to keep the classroom clean and safe.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to play a positive impact in the lives of students and to develop your own skills and autonomy in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers in delivering planned education programs
  • Implement individual or small group programs or demonstrations
  • Maintain the learning environment
  • Keep equipment, materials, and resources organized and ready for use in classes and activities
  • Help keep the classroom clean and safe
Selection Criteria

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Demonstrated sound oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with students, parents and teaching professionals
  • Demonstrated sound interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of a team
  • Demonstrated sound organisational skills that will assist in the delivery of effective educational programs to students
  • Demonstrated ability to assist with the general health and well-being of students
Eligibility

To work with us, you must:

  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment
  • Obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start; and
  • Consent to a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit
