At Macquarie, our Commodities and Global Markets division integrates specialized knowledge with risk and capital solutions to empower our clients in navigating global markets, including equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, and commodities. The Business Operational Risk Management team is pivotal in enhancing our processes, controls, and operational risk profile across our global operations.
Your Role
As a key member of the Business Operational Risk Management Control Assurance team, you will take ownership of and coordinate control assurance evaluations across the Commodities and Global Markets sector. Your initial focus will be on remediated and division-wide controls, where you will manage the comprehensive approach to assurance and oversee risk and control representations within the risk and control register. Additionally, you will contribute to the establishment of an assurance virtual practice aimed at promoting consistency, driving automation, and fostering continuous assurance practices.
What You Bring
• Over 6 years of experience in audit, assurance, operational risk, and/or compliance
• Proven knowledge and experience within the Financial Services sector
• A strong risk-oriented mindset
• Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities
• Experience in front office or Line 1 Risk is advantageous.
