Risk and Control Enablement Manager

Join our team as a Risk and Control Enablement Manager and contribute to the delivery of excellent business and customer outcomes.
About the Role:This role will report to the Senior Manager, Risk and Control Enablement and will be responsible for supporting the Market Operations business in the implementation and adherence with the Operational Risk Management Framework (ORMF) and Compliance Management Framework (CMF).
Key Responsibilities:- Responsible for the design and implementation of controls to enable better risk and compliance outcomes.
- Manage root cause analysis of issues and incidents, identifying and implementing control improvements for the business areas they support.
- Responsible for ensuring the correct risk and controls overlay the end-to-end process mapping and documentation management to support the control process.
- Assist in the development of operational risk training programs to increase risk awareness and culture across the MO business.
- Contribute to a proactive risk and control culture and collaborate with the business.
- Risk Mindset: All Comm Bank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks.
- Knowledge of Operational and Compliance Risk frameworks.
- Institutional Banking / Corporate Banking experience would be advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Understand Operations and/or Technology Controls and ability to apply them to new technology being implemented into the Bank.
- Influencing and consulting skills, the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
